Summer Fun...

So busy here at the Edwards house!  Here are some other things we have been doing...

We celebrated Chris' Dad's birthday by taking him too the driving range.  Carter had a ball, but we had to make sure he didn't ruin any clubs by dragging them on the cement...

We have also been participating in the local library's reading program.  For every 5 books we read to Carter he gets a raffle ticket. To date we have read 85 books which = 17 raffle tickets.  He has the chance to win either 4 tickets to Cedar point or a $100 gift card to a local book and game store called "Just Imagine".  It ends this week...we will see if we win a prize!  Here is is reading card...

We have also spent a lot of time outside...in the kiddie pool and at the park playing sports...

We also had an incident with immunizations.  Carter revieved the Prevnar 13 booster at his 3 year check up (on July 13th).  They told me he would have NO REACTION what-so-ever.  However by 5pm the night of the shot he was screaming and would not walk on that leg.  By morning the leg was hot to touch and swollen.  By the next day his leg was swollen from thigh to kneecap.  I wish I had taken a picture.  The only one I have is on my phone.  It was scary, but we got him in to the Dr and he was started on antibiotics and it resolved in 24 hrs.  Ugh...wierd things happen to that boy!  He weighed 29.5 lbs at 3 years old.  Always thin!!!
