On May 2, 2010 Eli was given a name and a blessing at the Chelsea Michigan Ward in the Ann Arbor Michigan Stake. He was blessed by his father Christopher Edwards. The members in the circle were Gary Ray Spooner(Pepa), Douglas Edwards (Grandpa), Ryan Ward (uncle), Gordon Madsen (uncle), Jonathan Spooner (uncle), and Stephen Sweitzer (2nd uncle). It was a very blessed day and the spirit was very strong. This little boy is very special and everyone can feel that about his sweet spirit. Nana (Debby Spooner) made his blessing outfit and it looked adorable. After the meetings everyone came to our home and we had a brunch. Eli slept through all of the festivities. It was a special day and one we will never forget.
