Turning 2- - -Not So "Terrible"

2 Years ago tomorrow @ 9:32pm my little boy was born weighing in @ 6 lbs 7 oz. I never imagined how quickly this time would pass. My baby is turning 2!!! Today was his party and we had a great day! Thanks to Kathy @ Modern Polkadot we had some adorable invitations for his Baryard/Farm Party! My dirty little, animal loving, truck and tractor driving little boy TURNS 2!
(Notice the boots he insisted on wearing the other day...yes they are winter snow boots worn in this beaurtiful 70 degree weather...they are too small...and he insisted those were the shoes he wanted to wear on Wednesday)

Cowboy cupcakes, Cow Tail candy and "Chicken Feed" Chex Mix were at the tables.

The hats are Pringles, eyes mini M&M's, fruit roll-up mouth and scarf, chicklet tooth, Cheerio ears, Jelly Belly nose, and Gumdrop top of the hat. These were of course made w/ an egg substitute called Ener-G for the egg allergy. These were a hit w/ the kids.

As a goodie bag...the kids got Tractor soaps...adorable purchased on etsy from Arizona Soap Works who does a great job w/ custom soaps. The kids were excited to use these in the tub.

Carter's favorite gift from Ed and Kathy Hall...his first gun. Makes all the fun noises that every guy/man likes to hear.

This gift went perfectly w/ his other gift from the halls...perfect camo overalls for next hunting season. Thanks Ed!


We got him a Little Tikes Toolbench. He thought it was great and it was only a matter of time until he figured out how to climb on top.
We had a great day! Thanks for everyone that came. We love birthdays, even if it means my baby is growing up. Thanks to Chris my wonderful husband for being so helpful w/ all the festivities...you are great!
