Toddler take over

Just a quick update on Carter-Bo (AKA Louey) Don't ask why we call him that, we are not sure it just came out. How do you shorten Carter any way..."Car" just doesn't fit!

So Carter is VERY fair haired and has been bald for quite some time. So we did not have a first haircut until 2 weeks ago. And by the way, he didn't REALLY need it then either. But Dad was sick of his "tail" so we had it cut off.

He did very well. Didn't move a muscle. Just look how far he has come w/ his hair growth and his sweet "widow's peak". This mommy was proud of it and kept what little hair from the "tail" she could.

Carter has also been known to streak...we found him the other day in the laundry room playing w/ Henna's (my parents dog) dish of food. Nothing on but SOCKS. Gotta love it.

He has also been very into playing in the yard and riding the tracker. He goes to the door and says, "Side, tractor, bike..." We have been playing outside quite a bit lately. Here is my attempt to catch him looking adorable as I feel he is. He still. melts his mom.

Carter says pretty much everything he hears now. His vocab expands every day. It is truly amazing. He is saying 3 words in a row and all very understandable. "My turn mommy", "Read it please", "Carter do it!", "Thank you Daddy", "Bike, Ride it" We giggle when he copies us and says things like "Doubt it" or "Oh Gosh!" He is a HUGE mimic and we are learning to be very careful. We love this kid!
