Road Trip out west. First Stop...Blackfoot, Idaho

Since we are running a home business selling both fabric and product we attend the International Quilt Market each spring.  This year it so happened to be in Salt Lake City Utah.  So we decided to make a road trip of it for about 2 and a half weeks.  Chris didn't drive with us butmy mom came along for the ride.

We arrived in Omaha after the first day of travelling without difficulties.   However the next day was not so pleasant.  Eli woke up and was upset the entire day.  Between the diarrhea, fever, and lack of sleeping Eli was miserable.  We were stopping every hour trying to get across Nebraska and Wyoming.  It was terrible.  We didn't make it to ID like we had planned, but rather stopped at a shaddy hotel for the night.  The next day we made it to Blackfoot Idaho early morning the following day.  Grandma and grandpa were very happy to see us.  And us them.  Aunt Karen even came over to visit.
Carter enjoyed playing tag with her and her tickling.
Grandpa even gave 4 wheeler rides to Carter. And as always he loved calling the cows in the pasture!

Eli was ill most of the time we were in Idaho.  It was hard to get him to eat anything and drink much at all.  But Grandpa had a special touch.  He could get him to drink and eat!  He really loved snuggling up to him.

Only because I was getting so worried about my little man and his fever that would not break and ended up taking him to Urgent Care that he got better.  It seems that once I give in and take him in and pay the copay that one of two things happens...the fever breaks or he gets better!  Two days after the 104 degree fever broke he wound up with a red itchy rash all over his entire body!  Thank you Roseola for accompanying us on our vacation!!!  My poor baby!
