Eli is a ham. Here are some things that he is doing these days:
-Loves climbing into the dishwasher just to shake the racks.
-He is super fast at crawling everywhere and when he gets where he wants to be he quickly stands up and walks around whatever he needs to. There is hardly and still time in his day...only when he's sleeping.
-He loves to play with his brother Carter. Playing matchbox cars or with figurines. He just loves his company.
-He is a "bruiser"! He just got over a cold sore on his head. Only to get a scratch on the back of his head last Thursday from his brother trying to pick him up. Friday he got a bruise on his eye from trying to pull himself up to a bucket of toys. Monday he fell walking around the toy room and scratched his chin. We are wondering is he needs a helmet?
-He has started catching on to some sign language. He is signing "MORE" and "PUPPY". We are working on others.
-He is eating everything but not sure about some of the chunkier textures...strong gag reflex!
-Eli says "Dada", "Mama", and just today he said, "Nana".
-He uses his teeth and voice as his defense mechanism. He can't defend himself from his older brother...so he has bit Carter a few times when he takes his toys away from him. Not promoting this, but is is teaching Carter not to mess with him!
He is such a sweet heart and he brings so much joy to our home. It has been a wonderful 10 months!
